Bryan Ortiz to Conclude K&N East Season at Road Atlanta

Oct 17, 2013

CORNELIUS, N.C. (October 16, 2013) - Bryan Ortiz will take to the 2.54-mile road course at Road Atlanta for the 2013 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East season finale this Friday, October 18. For Ortiz and his No. 4 Rev Racing Toyota Camry team, it's one final chance to add another high mark to the season's record. His best finish of the year, a second-place score, came on the road course at Virginia International Raceway in August. He also finished third at Daytona, sixth in Pensacola and seventh at Bowman Gray.

Last outing... A blown motor ended Ortiz's day at Dover International Speedway on lap 112. He was credited with a 27th-place finish.

Bryan Ortiz, on racing at Road Atlanta... "I'm really excited for Friday. We're going to use our practice sessions to get the car where we want it, but judging by how well VIR went, I anticipate having a good day. Winning here is the ideal way to end the season."

Bryan Ortiz is a 24-year-old NASCAR K&N Pro Series East driver from Bayamon, Puerto Rico, who is in his third season with Rev Racing.

He captured back-to-back Formula Renault championships in 2004 and 2005 and, in 2010, was selected as an ESPN Deportes Magazine "NEXT" cover athlete. He competed in Grand-Am's Rolex Series and Continental Tire Series and in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series before moving to the K&N East.
