Kyle Benjamin to Drive No. 52 RainEater Wiper Blades Entry in NASCAR Pro Series East Debut

Sep 25, 2013

CORNELIUS, N.C. (September 25, 2013) - 15-year-old racecar driver Kyle Benjamin will make his NASCAR Pro Series East debut this Friday, September 27, at Dover International Speedway. Benjamin will pilot the No. 52 Federated Auto Parts/RainEater Wiper Blades entry for Ken Schrader Racing.

Though it's his big-track NASCAR debut, Benjamin is no novice. In eight ARCA Series races this season, he scored two victories, at Madison Speedway and Salem Speedway, and led a total of 260 laps. He is both the youngest pole winner and youngest race winner in ARCA Series history. Additionally, he has scored seven Super Late Model wins this season; he has totaled nine victories in 2013.

"I've been waiting to make my East Series debut for quite awhile and Dover is a really cool place to do it," said Benjamin. "I have to thank Federated Auto Parts and RainEater Wiper Blades for this opportunity. I'll have a great car underneath me thanks to the folks at Ken Schrader Racing. This has been a great season for me personally, and I can't wait to make this next step."

"We couldn't be more thrilled about having this kid in our car," said team owner Ken Schrader. "He's won some ARCA races this year and we've won some ARCA races this year, so this just makes a lot of sense to have him come here and try to go win Dover."

Federated Auto Parts, a longtime partner of KSR, will be on the hood of Benjamin's racecar. RainEater Wiper Blades will adorn the quarter panels for Friday's race, its first time partnering with Benjamin.

"We're really excited to team up with a young, rising talent like Kyle," said Lance Thornton, president of RainEater Wiper Blades. "It's an honor to join Federated Auto Parts in being a part of this young man's stellar 2013 season. Like Federated, who is focused on providing great auto parts for its customers, we are excited to spread the word about the best wiper blades in the world through Kyle and his exciting career path."

Fans that follow both Benjamin (@kylebenjamin71) and RainEater Wiper Blades (@RainEater) on Twitter this weekend will receive a free pair of RainEater Wiper Blades if Benjamin finishes inside the top 10.
